Tuesday was a tough day in terms of getting things done -- getting loops closed so before discussing anything of substance, a little joke that should bring a smile to about half of you.
A foursome of men waited to tee off, while a ladies’ foursome was hitting in front of them and taking their sweet time.
When the final lady was ready to hit her ball, she hacked it 10 feet. Then she went over and missed it completely. Then she hacked it another 10 feet and finally hacked it another 5 feet.
She looked up at the patiently waiting men and said apologetically, “Well, I guess all those fucking lessons I took over the winter didn’t help my game”.
One of the men responded: “Well, there you have it! You should have taken golf lessons instead”. He never had a chance to duck. He was only 43…May he Rest In Peace!

The installation of our generator first moved from this morning to this afternoon. Then, late Tuesday, the crane people called to say their crane was broken, and it will be Thursday morning. These are the people who refused to install the generator off their truck until they were paid.

I went to open a second bank account in my neighborhood because it is becoming less and less convenient to bank in Fort Lauderdale where I have banked for decades. Opening the new account took almost two hours. I needed a lawyer to figure out the various ways the bank made money by charging for about everything except entering the bank itself. If I encountered a turnstile requiring a token at the front door, I would not be surprised.

As I predicted, things did not go well for Trump’s lawyers at the first hearing before the special master. What I see coming is a major conflict between the brainy Judge Dearie and the brainless Judge Cannon. I see Dearie making recommendations which basically mean Cannon got it all wrong which she did.
Keep in mind that Cannon does not have to agree with Dearie and can overrule him.

The migrants have filed a class action against DeSantis. A Texas Sheriff has opened a criminal inquiry against DeSantis and I am convinced more litigation will come.
In the meantime, DeSantis is spending a fortune of Floridians money and a fortune of time jousting at more windmills than Don Quixote and is neglecting to perform his duties as Governor.
When are the citizens of Florida going to wake up and realize this man has to be stopped?

Putin is facing more and more pressure and we can expect some major things happening in Russia.
I believe Biden is addressing the United Nations today. Lots to discuss and not just about the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. China is not too happy with Biden’s pledge to come to the aid of Taiwan.
Also, big time problems in Puerto Rico.
And, of course, immigration is a huge elephant in the room. What is so exasperating is that these problems are hard to solve, maybe impossible, if both parties work together but our politicians are too busy trying to win elections rather than trying to make things better.
