More and more anti-semitism is being tied to Trump. If I understand his thinking correctly, we Jews who live in America are not really American. Our Country is Israel. I have given a great deal of money to Israel over my lifetime. I love Israel and its people, but I am American and am still trying to sort out the ramifications of what is now going on. Whatever it is, it is very bad and everyone better start paying careful attention. Remember, they put Japanese Americans in camps for no valid reason. This Country is really on the precipice of disaster.

————————- I think it was long overdue, but Jerry Lee Lewis was finally inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Of course, when he married his 13-year-old cousin, that put a major crimp in his career. Lewis is still alive at 87 but too sick to attend in person. Hank Williams Jr. accepted the award on Lewis’ behalf.

There is no doubt in my mind that if the Republicans were in control, indictments against Democrats would be flying out the door. There would be absolutely no consideration that they could hurt the Democrats in the upcoming election. Hell, that would be the main purpose.
It is one thing to play “nice” when both sides are willing to do so. It is downright stupid to play softball when the other side only plays hardball. The Democrats are their own worse enemy along with, of course, the complacent and/or stupid and/or uninformed electorate.
