Garland did a great job at his press conference. I have no way to confirm this, but I would not be at all surprised if Garland personally had a hand in writing the motion to unseal. Every word he spoke was meticulously crafted.
To those of you who are frustrated by Garland’s deliberateness and apparent lack of aggressiveness, I suggest that it is, at least in part, due to our expectation to see the kind of bombast we saw with Barr and which we see with Trump almost on an hourly basis.
Trump clearly broke the law. He does not have a legal leg to stand on. All he can do is scream “witchhunt” and have his minions threaten violence and make totally meritless allegations. He is lawless in every sense of word.
How the radical right can take umbrage with how Trump is being treated is mind boggling. If an ordinary citizen wrongfully took classified records, they would have been in jail a long time ago. How what the FBI did can be considered any kind of “witchhunt” is beyond irrational.

If you have not heard about Beto O’Rourke, the Democratic gubernatorial candidate in Texas, he was speaking to a crowd about the mass shooting in Uvalde. A member of the audience began to laugh. O’Rourke pointed at the heckler and said, “It may be funny to you Motherfucker, but it’s not funny to me, OK?”.
Questions:
1. Did that outburst help or hurt O’Rourke’s campaign?
2. Is the expletive he used one or two words?

I just learned a new oxymoron listening to a reporter refer to Donald Trump as “the former leader of the free world”. If Trump and his minions had their way, it would only be a free world for white heterosexual Christian men.

I love the music in “High Society” written by Cole Porter. There is one beautiful song that is almost always overlooked because of big hits like “True Love”. Go on U Tube and listen to Crosby sing “Little One”. I just adore that song and the whole very short scene.

The Democrats have a really good chance of holding on to the Senate and, perhaps, picking up a few seats. However, the Republicans are still favored to take control of the House. We cannot let that happen. McCarthy is a maniac and there are numerous others similar. It is up to the women in this country to switch to voting Democratic.
Gaetz should be in jail and Greene should be in an asylum, just to pick out two choice politicians who have no business holding any elected office.
