By Barbara: What a wonderful day! Driving through the greenery, budding flowers, and bucolic vistas on our way to Scarperia for lunch at Nanone with friends. It has been named one of the top ten great steak restaurants in the world. Paola and his wife and children are following in the footsteps of the many ancestors who have come before them. Paola has a new grandchild with another on the way and assured us that the tradition will go on.
It is the kind of day that makes me so thankful for our life here.
