With one exception, I can separate a person’s talent from their bad character, lack of integrity or morality. Pete Rose should be in Hall of Fame despite his misdeeds, Bing Crosby was a great singer despite his being a horrible father. etc...
The one person who, in my mind despite his exploits on the field, that would not get my vote for dog catcher, or in the vernacular, I would not piss on if he were on fire, is Curt Schilling. I just do not like that man, and every time he opens his mouth, I like him less.
What brought on this rant? Nothing, but it was triggered by a discussion of great pitchers I had seen in my lifetime.

I guess I am still a patriot. I watched Captain Larry Taylor receive the Medal of Honor and cried like a damn baby. It was really a nice ceremony and Senator Tuberville can rot in hell.

The leader of the Proud Boys was sentenced to 22 years in prison. That is the longest sentence to date. The Judge was a Trump appointee.
If Trump is convicted, is not he as the leader, looking at a longer sentence?

An Alabama court ruled the gerrymandering is unconstitutional. There is, however, a minor problem. Alabama will not follow the law and will likely just disregard the law. I have no idea what happens.

Marlins beat the Dodgers last night. That makes five in a row and it took beating Kershaw with a lineup that has Betts and Freeman batting first and second. That is some one/two punch.

Saturday Trump is scheduled to attend the Iowa v.Iowa State football game. Far be it from me to suggest that a candidate almost 50 points ahead of his nearest rival, facing for major lawsuits around the country, could find a better use for his time.

Georgia judge is conducting a hearing this afternoon. We should learn a lot about how Willis suggests the case proceeds. Of course, we still do not know how many defendants will actually be tried in State Court.
Further, I am still waiting for some plea deals. It should be clear that Trump intends to let them hang so it is stupid to protect him. What’s in it for these other defendants.?

I did very well with my trainer yesterday. There are days when I wake up very energized, and others when I wake up thinking I am going to have trouble putting one foot in front of another. Of course, the good news is I woke up.
