A dispute over an LGBTQ pride flag spiraled into deadly violence when a man shot and killed the 66 year old business owner right in front of her shop. My Wife does not even want me to blow my horn for fear someone will shoot me. I will no longer pull into a strange driveway to turn around for fear that the house owner will regard me as a trespasser and shoot me. Our world has become way to violent.

Some free advice. All my readers know I am liberal. I do not care if you have sex with a goat. I do not want it to be my goat, and it should not be an underage goat, but love whomever you want. It is none of my business. However, why advertise what you are? It is not wise to flaunt your views in this dangerous world. Just be what you want to be there is no reason to advertise it.

Just asking for a friend: there seems to be a growing opinion that Trump is disqualified from being on the ballot for his actions on January 6 relying on the 14th Amendment. My friend wants to know how one reconciles that opinion with the principle that one is presumed innocent until proven guilty?

Trump has to post a $200,000 bond in Georgia. Not sure how the court decided on that amount of pocket change. Trump will probably raise a few million dollars from his cult followers to post that bond.

Another one of our favorite restaurants is closing its doors. London’s Gavroche, which for many years, I considered the best in London really had no competition. However, for the last several years, many great restaurants have opened in London. Still, Hunan on Pimlico Road has always been my favorite. I think Jr is the best Chinese food out of China in the world.

Think Melania divorces Trump? Even with an ironclad prenuptial agreement, there are child support and related child issues that are not because they cannot be covered in any prenup.

Very good report from the doctor today. Echo cardio gram was no different than 2 years ago and blood pressure 118/70

Not surprisingly, I took a nap yesterday. I was at home, and not driving. The Marlins played in San Diego starting at 9;40 p.m. soi was awake and watched the whole game which ended at 12:45 a.m, and which we lost 6 to 2. However, it was not competitive. The Padres scored one run in the 1st inning. Then, in the second, our pitcher, who is not ready for the “show” walked the bases loaded, and the next batter hit a grand slam making it 5 to 0 by the end of the 2nd inning. If our Manager has a major flaw, it is knowing when to stay with a pitcher and when not to. A guy who walks three in a row should not face another batter as a general rule.

See you tomorrow. At least that is my plan.
