Tuesday, March 19 to Sunday, March 24, 2019
Tuesday March 19: Served Comtes Champagne in cabin and 90 Pichon at Polo
Wednesday March 20: Excellent lunch in Puerto Princesa, Philippines: grilled calamari and whole grilled red snapper. San Miguel beer good but not served cold enough.
Friday March 22 in Manila.. radish cakes at lunch in Chinatown and dumplings made to order in a dumplings shop were exceptionally good.
Saturday May 23. Very good dumplings and ribs at dinner in the Terrace.
Sunday March 24. Terrific food in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. A terrific bakery that had won the world championship for making the best bread. BGM had a terrific hot sandwich with cashews, edamame and tuna. Taiwanese lunch at the most popular restaurant for locals. Most dumplings, but great rice and a very good beer which comes in huge bottles.
