Donald Trump is not the only losing candidate to not congratulate the candidate who beat him. Although I would just love to name names, there are many reasons why I cannot do so. However, I promise you that I know first hand that the winner of a race in Broward County never received a telephone call or any communication congratulating the winner.

I have lost the ability to fix my typos on these posts once they are posted. It used to be easy. There were some dots I pushed and up came “edit posts” but no more. I would appreciate any help.

It seems to me that a major part of the Republican Platform for the November midterms is that they want to get even with their enemies. Just off the top of my head, they have promised to go after Dr. Fauci, Hunter Biden, Joe Biden and Liz Cheney.
The rest of their platform appears to be to make the rich richer, the poor poorer, and to take away everyone’s individual rights except those belonging to White, Christian, Heteosexual Men who think the Bible is more important than our Constitution.

I saw Val Demings on a number of talk shows. She did a good job and May well be able to energize the Democratic Party in Florida.

The young people should already be excited to get out to vote and get all their friends to vote. Whether the forgiveness of student loans will translate into votes I do not know. I do know that if the Republicans do not like this new Bill, they can choose not to accept the gift and pay what they owe.

Today the DOJ has to file its suggested redactions with the Federal Magistrate. I will be interested in what happens.

McConnell says our democracy is strong. I think he is wrong. He and Trump are feuding. My money is on McConnell.
What I cannot get a handle on is the relationship between Trump and DeSantis. I am much more worried about the latter because he is so much smarter. Both are evil.

It is unusual for an incumbent judge to lose. This week, four incumbent judges in South Florida were defeated.

The election of Pat Ryan in New York could prove to be crucial and a harbinger of the Democrats holding the House this November. If they do, we can thank Justice Alito.

I wish Elizabeth Warren would stop shrieking. She makes some good points but I intensely dislike listening to her express them.

In a little while I have to drive Barbara to Costco. I used to go all the time. In fact, it was one of my most favorite sojourns until, and even I cannot blame Trump for this, I could no longer eat two great hot dogs and all I could drink for about $3.00. Were I not in equilibrium, I would have ended up in therapy.
What I will do while Barbara single-handedly brings the Costco stock up a non-trivial amount, I do not know. However, it will probably involve taking and hiding several little children from their parents.
I actually researched the nutrients in a Costco hot dog. I am allowed 2000 mg of sodium daily. One hot dog (and I always ate two) has 1750 mg of sodium, and that is before considering the sodium in the roll and condiments. Geez!

The Marlins lost in extra innings by one run due to a wild pitch that put the winning run on third base.
