This is being written and posted Sunday night from Las Palmas in the Canary Islands. We had never been here before, and we loved it we would consider coming back on our own.
However, I was so exhausted and barely have the energy to write “see you tomorrow”.
Besides, when we got back to the cabin, the television was really not working so I know no news. Since it is Sunday, probably nothing happened anyway. The politicians we all elected would not think of workings on a Sunday no matter what. God forbid these assholes would miss the chance to kiss babies back home rather than working to keep our country from defaulting on its debt. What? Pay our bills!!!! How dare those rascal Democrats even suggest such a thing I would like to borrow money from every damn Republican in the House and then skip town.

Chew on this. I pay, or my insurance company pays, and only with a prescription written in blood, witnessed and notarized, about $20 for a pill I take twice a day. Yesterday, without a prescription, I could buy 60 of these pills for about $75. Any eyebrows lifting?

Today the casino, ooops, I mean the stock market, is opening. According to Janet Yellen, Republicans she is Secretary of the Treasury,, if the debt ceiling is not lifted, everyone in the market could lose up to 45% of his or her investment. Okay, schmucks, do something.
By the way, I do not think all Republicans are ignorant . I do not even think all ignorant people are Republican. I do think that way too many elected politicians who are Republican are unqualified to hold office. Some Democrats too, but not as disproportionally.
