Forgive the brevity of this post but I am exhausted. Seabourn gave us 62nd anniversary party in our cabin that was probably the nicest party they have ever given. Every single senior officer made an appearance. Even the very personable new Captain stayed and talked to our guests. It was not just a cameo appearance.
Our cruise director Ross approved live music. He moved a number of things for us and Eugene, a truly talented musician who was supposed to play half an hour played an hour.
I do not know how many kilos of caviar were put out but one huge tin was demolished.
I particularly want to think the chief bartender Sean and Luca the hotel director. Without their blessing none of our celebration could have happened.
Then nine of us including us went to a very festive three hour dinner at TK. Keller’s. We had a round table which helped but the chemistry was all there and everyone had a great time. It was a memorable 62nd anniversary.
Today we are in Adelaide. We are being picked up at 8 a.m and expect to be gone 12 hours give or take.

Our second day in Melbourne was good. We went into the wine country. Went to three different tastings but bought nothing. Traffic was horrendous and wine not nearly as good as Hunter Valley.
We had a good driver/guide. He could not have tried harder. We were literally the last people back on the ship.
Seabourn had a nice sailaway party. Yesterday we were at sea lost in trivial pursuit. Otherwise an uneventful day until our anniversary party began.
I need a vacation.
See you tomorrow. At least that is my plan.
Go Ukraine
