The death of Queen Elizabeth and the first public speech of King Charles is, at least as I begin this post, the top story of Friday. I thought that the television coverage was excellent. In fact, better than the coverage of most domestic events.
“The King’s Speech” I gave A plus for both content and delivery. He struck the perfect balance between a warm tribute to his Mother, and assuring those to whom he spoke that he was ready to assume the monarchy without losing continuity.

I have no idea what Judge Cannon will do. I used to be a regular at the race track and would handicap each race. I found it a waste of time to try to handicap cheap horses. They are totally unpredictable. On the other hand, good horses could be handicapped. Cannon is the equivalent of a cheap $2000 claimer.

I have known Federal District Court Judge Donald Middlebrooks for decades.. He was an outstanding lawyer. His appointment to the Bench was well deserved and the crown on a distinguished legal career. He is a no-nonsense Judge, and knows bullshit when he sees it.
In a nutshell, Middlebrooks epitomizes what every Judge should be.
He is about to sanction Trump’s lawyers for the meritless lawsuit Trump filed against Hilary Clinton. I would bet a whole lot of my money that if Middlebrooks had the Document case being butchered by Cannon, what is going on with her would never have happened. It is not a close call.
