Our Granddaughter Kasey, Beth’s youngest, had a halcyon day Thursday. She was named MVP for both cheerleading and volleyball, and soccer (defense) way to go Kasey!

Did badly in trivial pursuit. Very hard questions on subjects like the Chinese zodiac. Not only did I have very few answers, there were several questions I did not understand. The officer had a term and did worse than anyone. This time our Cruise Director Ross dealt an honest game.

Attended a birthday party and then joined two other couples for dinner in main dining room. Barbara passed on dinner.
All in all, yesterday was a very uneventful sea day.

Saw Vice-President giving the commencement address at the U. S. Military Academy. That ought to throw
a whole lot of our bigots into a frenzy. Let’s ask Trump what he thinks of that choice.

Still no meaningful movement on raising the debt ceiling so we can pay our bills. It looks like millions of Americans are asleep at the wheel. Heh! That is a great name for a Texas swing band..
